Location & Travel
Cambridge University Press & Assessment is committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive and enjoyable experience for all our delegates.
To help you prepare for your upcoming visit, we encourage you to review the key information and travel advice below. Before travelling, we recommend checking the travel guidelines and recommendations from your home country's embassy.
The Hilton Cambridge City Centre on Downing Street offers on-site valet and self-parking for £35.00 per day. Given the hotel's central location, spaces are limited. For cheaper or alternative options, pre-book nearby secure parking using platforms like JustPark or YourParkingSpace.
The Madingley Road Park & Ride is the closest P&R facility to the Hilton Cambridge City Centre. Located on the western edge of the city (CB3 0EX), it offers a direct 9-minute bus ride into the city centre, leaving just a short 5-to-10-minute walk to the hotel.
The Hilton is easily accessible by public transport. The U (Universal) bus runs frequently between Eddington, Cambridge city centre, Cambridge Station, and Addenbrooke's Hospital, stopping close to the West Cambridge campus. This service provides a convenient link for attendees travelling from both Eddington and the city centre.
We kindly ask that you check local government guidelines before travelling to the United Kingdom. You may require a visa, entry clearance certificate or other official documentation to enter the UK to attend this conference. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the correct documents. If you have any questions about this, we recommend that you contact your local embassy for more information.
Cambridge cannot arrange visas or other travel documents for you, or advise on the requirements for entry to the UK.
